Any extra charge incurred for additional services, such as Purchaser's carrier or special handling at the destination, must be paid by consignee. Title and risk of loss pass to Purchaser on delivery to the common carrier. If product was damaged or lost in transit, recipient must file claim with carrier.

Federal Excise Tax Exemption

Certain ammunition and firearm products are subject to a Federal Excise Tax (FET) of 11%. We recommend drop-shipping these products directly to your agency, as State and Local agencies can provide a tax exempt certificate. The Department of Defense and the US Coast Guard are the only Federal agencies that are exempt from the excise tax requirements. All other Federal institutions are not tax exempt.

ATF-Regulated Products

Orders for products requiring authorization from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) must be accompanied by a signed letter of intent written on agency letterhead. Please allow 4-8 weeks for ATF approval. Per ATF regulations, products must be dropshipped directly to your agency.

Secure Special Handling

For your protection, LES requires that any customization referencing any law enforcement agency, entity, name or rank be accompanied by:

Written and signed authorization on your department’s official letterhead
A photocopy of an official picture identification card.

Returns

If you have any problem with your order, please give us a call at (800) 386-0064. We will gladly refund, credit or exchange your new or unused items. We will repair or replace any product or part which proves to be defective in workmanship or material. Manufacturers' Warranties & Sales Literature

Most of the products supplied to LES are warranted to the final consumer by their manufacturer. Copies of such warranties are supplied with the product or are available from the manufacturer. As a service, LES will obtain copies of consumer warranties from the warrantor and will furnish them free of charge to Purchasers who request them. Requests must include the manufacturer's model number of each product for which a copy of the warranty is requested. LES may also furnish sales brochures and other literature of the manufacturer. LES assumes no responsibility for the content of such warranties or sales literature by performing this service.

Force Majeure

LES shall not be liable for any delay in or impairment of performance resulting in whole or in part from Acts of God, severe weather conditions, labor disruptions, governmental decrees or controls, insurrections, war risks, shortages, inability to procure or ship product or obtain permits and licenses, supplies or raw materials, or any other circumstances or causes beyond the control of LES in the conduct of its business.

Cancellation

Any cancellation must be approved by LES, and may be subject to restocking and other charges.

LES's ability to keep product information accurate and up-to-date is limited by manufacturers and other industry sources' ability to provide product information. Therefore, LES makes no warranties, expressed or implied as to the accuracy of the catalog or website data.
